What is Inflatable summer fun?

As the preface specifies inflatable sculpture is a huge balloon with many rooms. It is a plastic balloon filled with a breeze to make any sculpture. The ‘ZOMMER VOOR ANTWERPEN‘ group organizes this inflatable balloon activity. They titled it “Timisien” in the Nederland language. It is known as “Architect of Air” a swell. In this mold, there are some spaces that they named rooms and corridors like a maze with hued lights for your enjoyment. They made it such a way as a prince’s castle. If you see it from the outside you think it has ten or twelve rooms like a castle. But it is not like that when you go inside you will find four to five spaces with passages which is what I did not love but it is good for kids.

When and where is this summer fun?

 From 5 July to 14 July after 2 pm to 8 pm, it remains open just for 10 days. The ticket price is 4€ for everyone kids and adults. But if you have A card you will pay 2€. The team set up this fair at Operaplien which is in Centrum and those who live in Centrum find most summer fun events near to them. And if you wanna enjoy this mold, you have to take off your boots first. Then you will get into ‘Timisien” which has someplace with different lights.

How is Timisien?

Normally inflatable balloons are a plastic or rubber here they are from plastic a high standard of synthetic. I want to view this “Timisien” as it is my first time to see it. So at first, I obtained passes and after that, I and my kids put out our shoes. Why do we put out boots? This is because this sculpture cannot get foul as footwears carry dirt and the synthetic is hard to wipe. Then we enter a room-like structure. We observe four or five rooms while walking in this mold and it looks like we are just moving round and round.

 At the end of every space, there is a glass-type small ventilator. Which gloom with various colors of lights like blue, pink, purple, and red which was eye catchy. You can sit or lay down as it is granted in this sculpture. You can inhale as due to plastic some people are puzzled about suffocation. And it depends on you how much time you spend inside but not too much time that is also silly. And when I felt to leave from this mold I with my girls came out from the exit door and took on shoes that were saved at the shoe rack. It is good for enjoyment with other summer activities.

Timisien for kids

To be very honest it is just a waste of money. I did not like this ‘Timisien’ as you just go into the area take rounds and go back following the exit door. It is very smooth with few hued lights. Just I was curious to view this inflatable balloon. But kids enjoy this small activity of a few minutes. I think it is satisfying for children only.
